Number of hospitalised with Covid-19 drops below 6,000
The number of newly registered cases on Saturday reached 4,222, which was a drop by around 1,000 compared to the same day a week ago, according to Health Ministry data.
The number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 dropped below 6,000 for the first time since the beginning of January.
The overall number of registered cases stood at 937, 617 on Friday. 15,369 people have died and 814,903 have recovered from the disease.
The Czech Republic’s Covid-19 risk index has remained at 69 points out of 100, the fourth level of the five-tier emergency scale PES, for eleven days in a row.
