Czech national Covid risk index drops to 69
The Czech Republic’s Covid-19 risk index dropped from 73 to 69 points out of 100 on Saturday morning, and remains in the fourth level of the five-tier emergency scale PES.
The number of newly registered cases on Friday reached 8,423, which was a drop by around 860 compared to the same day a week ago, according to Health Ministry data. At the same time, the figure was slightly higher than in the previous two days.
The overall number of registered cases stood at 933, 361 on Friday. 15,270 people have died and over 808,260 have recovered from the disease. At the moment, 6,149 people are hospitalized with Covid-19.
