Covid-19 cases dropping, but risk index remains high

The Czech Republic registered 8,165 new cases of Covid-a9 on Wednesday, approximately 3,000 less than on the same day a week ago.

The number of positive cases in the overall number of tests conducted has dropped slightly to 30 percent.

The Covid-related death toll has now reached 14,973.

The risk index remains at 73 out of 100, which is just three points away from level five, the highest level on the counter-epidemic system PES.
