Lower house to debate coronavirus related issues
The lower house of Parliament will meet on Tuesday to start debating issues relating to the coronavirus epidemic.
Opposition MPs from the Civic Democratic Party, TOP 09 and the Christian Democrats are demanding an explanation from the Cabinet for what they call its “botched“ inoculation strategy, criticizing technical problems and delays in the process of vaccinating the most vulnerable group of people over the age of 80.
The lower house will also debate fines for entrepreneurs who violate the anti-coronavirus restrictions imposed.
A debate on extending the state of emergency from January 23 by another month, at the request of the government is likely to start on Thursday.
