Cyber attacks on Central European hospitals rose by 145 percent, says security company
The rate of cyber attacks on hospitals has risen globally over the past two months, the Tel-Aviv based security company Check Point Technologies announced. The data shows that the steepest rise has been registered in Central Europe, where the attacks increased by 145 percent.
Health is currently the most under attack sector, according to Check Point, with most attackers using the Ryuk and Sodinokibi hacking softwares.
