2020 fifth warmest year recorded at Prague’s Clementinum
2020 was the fifth warmest year recorded at Prague's Clementinum, the oldest Czech monitoring station, the Czech Hydro-Meteorological Institute reported on Thursday.
The average temperature in the capital last year was 12.3 degrees Celsius, which is 2.7 degrees above the average recorded between 1775 and 2014.
The five warmest years registered by meteorologists at Clementinum occurred in the last decade. 2018 is the hottest year on record, with an average temperature of 12.8 degrees Celsius.
