First and second grade pupils only return to Czech schools
Only first and second grade pupils at elementary schools returned to classrooms in the Czech Republic on Monday following the winter break, due to the coronavirus situation. All other pupils and students are receiving distance teaching after the country moved to the highest level on the government’s index-based system of Covid-19 measures during the holidays. Schools closed two days earlier than planned before Christmas in view of the high number of Covid cases.
Kindergartens and special needs schools are open as usual.
