Zeman to be vaccinated against Covid in second half of January
Czech President Miloš Zeman is to get vaccinated against the coronavirus in the second half of this month, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said after the two leaders met for a New Year’s lunch at the former’s Lány residence near Prague. Mr. Babiš said the head of state would receive a vaccine when he went for a regular check-up; he will not select a vaccine but take whichever one is available at the time.
The pair discussed the situation surrounding the Covid-19 epidemic and the Czech economy, the PM said. In mid-January the president’s team of advisors will meet at Lány in the presence of Mr. Babiš and the minister of finance, Alena Schillerová.
