Restaurants pubs and hotels close once again as epidemic worsens
Restaurants, pubs and hotels were once again forced to close on Friday as the Czech Republic moved up to the fourth level of the emergency system PES.
A night curfew has been reintroduced between 11pm and 5am, and gatherings must be limited to six people.
The tighter measures have also closed indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and the vast majority of museums and galleries.
However shops and services remain open.
Ski resorts have been allowed to open, but only for day visitors.
Hotels are not allowed to accommodate visitors and restaurants can only sell food via dispensing windows.
