Covid-19 numbers continue to rise
The Czech Republic registered 1,999 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, which was 887 more than on the same day of the previous week, according to the Ministry of Health data.
The counter-epidemic score remains at 71, which is equivalent to the fourth of five levels of risk alertness and the reproduction number is at 1.2. Five regions are in the fifth, highest level, while Prague remains in level three.
Currently, 4,203 people are hospitalised with COVID-19. 74 people died on Sunday, bringing the coronavirus-related death toll in the Czech Republic to 9,609.
