Defendants in Prague transport tickets case acquitted
All of the defendants in a case of alleged theft from the Prague transport authority were acquitted by the city’s Municipal Court on Friday. They include influential businessman Ivo Rittig and Martin Dvořák, a former head of the transport company.
The prosecutor said that 17 hellers from the sale of every public transport ticket produced by the company Neograph went, via a firm in the Caribbean, to Mr. Rittig. Mr. Dvořák was accused of handing the contract to Neograph without a due tender process.
Another court reached the same verdict in June last year.
