Interest in car-sharing and rentals has soared due to Covid-19
While sales of new cars have been declining throughout the year, interest in car- sharing or renting vehicles is growing.
Since the beginning of the year, the demand for rentals has more than doubled, with thousands of drivers using the service.
This trend is fuelled by the coronavirus crisis and people’s unwillingness to use public transport which is considered a high-risk environment.
According to the head of the Driveto rental agency Adam Szabó, the company now registers over 1,100 leased cars, more than double the number in January of this year.
