Most of country to go “green” as COVID-19 cases rise

The majority of districts in the Czech Republic will move into the official “green”, first level of risk, chief hygienist Jarmila Rážová announced at a videoconference on Wednesday.

Until now, ten districts were marked as green (low-risk), with only Prague marked as orange (medium-risk). However, as the amount of cases rises, Ms Rážová said there will be more green and possibly organge districts marked out on the Health Ministry’s official risk map displayed on its website.

The map works as a reference to health officials and the public, with measures to stop the spread being raised according to the colour.
