Sales of new passenger cars in the Czech Republic dropped by 25 percent in the past eight months to 131.410 vehicles, according to the latest figures published on Thursday by the Car Importers’ Association.

Demand has been falling since spring, when the anti-coronavirus measures were adopted.

The sales were traditionally dominated by Škoda, which has a 38 percent share of the market, followed by Hyundai and Volkswagen.
