Total known number of known Covid-19 cases passes 17,000

The total number of known cases of Covid-19 in the Czech Republic has now passed the 17,000 mark. After an increase of 210 on Monday the figure on Tuesday morning was 17,008. The number of current detected cases according to the Ministry of Health is 4,914, which is the highest figure since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country at the start of March.

As of Tuesday morning some 368 people with Covid-19 are known to have died in the Czech Republic.
