Vojtěch Dyk, a well-known Czech musician and actor, decided to do something different for his latest LP. Dyk, who is 35, abandoned the safety zone of his usual group B-Side Band to record an LP in New York, hooking up with Big Apple-based organist Ondřej Pivec and members of his group the Kennedy Administration. The resultant record D.Y.K., which at times brings to mind the great Stevie Wonder, brings the funk in a big way.
