Fifteen killed in road accidents over long weekend

The three-day-long weekend was the most tragic on Czech roads since the start of the year, with the traffic police reporting 15 deaths.

Six people were killed in traffic accidents on Friday evening alone, when thousands of people left the big cities and headed for their summer houses for the long weekend.

Twenty people who were injured in accidents at the weekend are in serious condition, the ctk news agency reported.
