Šilhavý to remain boss of Czech national soccer team

Jaroslav Šilhavý will continue as the coach of the Czech international football team in the next qualifying cycle for the 2020 world championship. Šilhavý, who is 58, was appointed to the post in 2018, replacing Karel Jarolím.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Euro 2020 has been postponed by one year until 2021. The qualification for the world Championship in Qatar is due to start in March next year.
