Survey: Interior Minister Jan Hamáček most able gov. politician during coronavirus crisis according to public
Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Jan Hamáček of the Social Democrats is seen by the public as the most able government politician during the coronavirus crisis, according to newly released results of a STEM agency opinion survey, which ranked the public perception of how six selected cabinet members handled the pandemic.
Mr Hamáček received a 70 percent positive evaluation, followed by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš of the ANO party who received 65 percent and Health Minister Adam Vojtěch with 60 percent.
The top three were followed by Finance Minister Alena Schillerová and Labour Minister Jana Maláčová, who both received a 53 percent positive rating. Trade and Industry Minister Karel Havlíček was seen positively by half of all respondents.
According to STEM, the ratings were very much dependent on the respondents’ individual experiences during the crisis.
