Tiumen and Josef Váňa win Pardubice steeplechase

The 119th Pardubice steeplechase was won on Sunday by Tiumen ridden by veteran 56-year-old jockey Josef Váňa. It was the jockey’s sixth Pardubice win. The favourite to win the 6,900-metre race was Sixteen, which was seeking a third win in a row. It had odds of 2.25:1 but came in second.
