Reconstruction of Negrelli viaduct in Prague begins
The Czech Railway Infrastructure on Thursday launched an extensive reconstruction of the Negrelli viaduct in Prague, the first railway bridge to be built across the Vltava River in 1850. The speed limit on the bridge, which is part of a link from the city centre to Prague Airport, will increase from 40 to 60 kilometres an hour. The work on the bridge is expected to take three years and costs are projected at around 1,44 billion crowns.
