The Czech Republic is the world's seventh worst offender when it comes to exporting counterfeit goods to the European Union, according to a report published by the European Commission on Friday. Four percent of the counterfeit goods on the EU market originate in this country. Fake clothing, car parts, toys and even medicines are produced in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, the daily Lidove Noviny reported on Wednesday that pirated compact discs had been sold illegally during the court execution of property in a bankruptcy case in the south Bohemian city of Ceske Budejovice.
