Yes, sports news now, and just a year after making his first-team debut, Slovan Liberec footballer and Czech Under-21 international Martin Jiranek is on the verge of a dream move to Serie A club Reggina.

Liberec's sporting director Josef Jinoch told the Czech newspaper Mlada Fronta Dnes that Jiranek had been watched by scouts from Italy twice in the last two weeks.

If they come in with a specific offer, we'll negotiate, said Jinoch. He refused to name the Italian club, but rumours have circulated that Reggina is the mystery team. Jiranek, who turned 21 in May, would be the fourth Czech to play in Serie A, following in the footsteps of Lazio's Pavel Nedved, Fiorentina's Tomas Repka and Napoli's Marek Jankulowski.
