No Czechs reported missing after deadly explosion in Swiss resort

No one has contacted the Czech diplomatic mission in Switzerland in connection with the explosion and subsequent fire at a bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, Czech Foreign Ministry spokesperson Daniel Drake told the Czech News Agency. The blast occurred in the late nigh hours leaving forty dead and another 100 injured. The cause of the explosion is being investigated.

Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
