New poll puts ANO way ahead of other parties
Opposition leaders ANO would have won general elections in October with 31.5 percent of the vote, suggests a poll by the Median agency published on Tuesday. The biggest party in the coalition government, the Civic Democrats, would have come second on 13.5 percent, the survey indicates.
Freedom and Direct Democracy were the choice of 12 percent of respondents, ahead of the Pirates on 11 percent. The Christian Democrats, the Mayors, the Social Democrats and TOP 09 were all just above the 5-percent threshold for the lower house.
