New Ministry of Sports to be created in emerging government

ANO, SPD, and Motorists has agreed to establish a new Ministry of Sports, Prevention, and Health before discussing the programmatic chapters. The position is expected to go to the Motorists. However, their program dedicates the least attention to sports among all potential coalition partners. The parties want to focus on the development of sports facilities and promoting physical activities. ANO promises, for example, long-term, predictable, and transparent sports policies, while SPD plans to, for instance, exempt sports sponsorship from taxes. The sports chapter will be discussed during the negotiations on individual program sections on Tuesday evening.
