New Czech ambassadors to NATO and EU announced

The new Czech ambassador to NATO will be David Konecký, chief director of one of the departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czech News Agency reported on Monday. He will take over the position from the current ambassador, Jakub Landovský, in the summer. Meanwhile, the Czech ambassador to the EU will be Vladimír Bärtl, the current ambassador to Luxembourg, the Foreign Ministry announced. He will be replacing the current ambassador Edita Hrdá in Brussels.
