Neurologist: Czech CJD cases not linked to Mad Cow Disease
The Czech government decided on Monday to ban all imports of bone meal from Europe, amid rising fears of contamination with BSE, or Mad Cow Disease. Meanwhile, the Czech News Agency has claimed that there have already been six deaths in the Czech Republic from the human form of BSE, Creutzfeld-Jakobs Disease, or CJD. But as Dr Jakob Hort explained to RP's Pavla Navratilova, it is essential to differentiate between two distinct forms of the brain-wasting disease:
