The cross-country skier Katerina Neumannova finished eigth in the 30 kilometres free in Oslo on Sunday to keep her hopes of a World Cup silver alive. Norway's Bente Skari has won the competition, but a good result in the last race of the season next weekend would mean Neumannova would finish second overall.
