Nearly 49,000 Czechs apply for resident status in UK

Nearly 49,000 Czech citizens have applied for resident status in the United Kingdom, the Czech News Agency reported. Of the 46,410 applications that had been dealt with at the end of November – one month before the Brexit transition period ended – some 31,240 Czechs had received settled status, while 13,560 had been granted pre-settled status.

Czechs in the UK can turn to the country’s embassy in London or Consulate General in Manchester with help processing the necessary documents for residency status.
