Nearly 100,000 self-employed persons in Czechia quit their business last year
A total of 99,329 self-employed persons finished their business activity last year according to the advisory firm Bisnode A Dun & Bradstreet Company. That is an increase of 43 percent when compared with 2019. The most significant rise in cancellations was noticeable in September and December.
Particularly heavily hit were those self-employed persons active in the production, trade and service sectors. The largest relative rise in cancelations was registered among traders active in the production of locks and fittings as well as among guides.
