NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to receive high Czech state distinction
President Petr Pavel will award the Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at Prague Castle on Thursday. This high state distinction is awarded by the president to people who have made outstanding contributions to the development of democracy, humanity and human rights.
Mr. Stoltenberg will be in Prague to attend an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers scheduled to take place in the Czech capital on Thursday and Friday. The meeting will focus on the war in Ukraine and preparations for the alliance's summit in Washington in July.
