Murder-suicide shooting in Prague’s Strašnice district leaves two dead

Police say a dispute between neighbours was the likely motive behind a deadly shooting in the Strašnice district of Prague on Sunday afternoon. The shooter, according to the police, later shot himself dead.

The shooting occurred around at 4:30pm. Two other people, a 52-year-old woman and a 98-year-old man, came into the field of fire of the perpetrator, who barricaded himself in his flat. The woman was treated for acute stress at the scene by a doctor and the man brought to a hospital for observation.
