Munich airport strike affects Czech flights

Air traffic at Prague's Václav Havel airport will be disrupted until Tuesday due to a two-day warning strike that began on Sunday at Munich airport, Germany's second largest.

According to the DPA agency, a total of 1,500 flights and 200,000 passengers will be affected during the two-day strike, including 25 flights at Prague airport.

German unions have announced a 24-hour nationwide transport strike for Monday due to a growing dispute over pay and working conditions that aims to bring the country’s transportation system to a standstill.
