Muchová narrowly loses French Open

Tennis player Karolína Muchová failed to achieve her eagerly-hoped-for first ever Grand Slam singles win in the final of the French Open on Saturday, losing to Polish top seed and world No. 1 Iga Swiatek 2-6, 7-5, 4-6 after a tense match that lasted 3 hours.

The 26-year-old Czech is only ranked 43rd in the world and is one of the lowest-ranked players ever to reach the final of the Grand Slam tournament.
