More planes deliver passengers to Prague from Middle East

Two Smartwings planes landed in Prague in the course of Friday night, carrying about 380 people from Dubai. One was a special repatriation flight while the other was a regular flight, said a spokesperson for the airline. Many Czechs have got stuck in the Middle East following the outbreak of conflict in the region.

An Emirates plane from Dubai also arrived in the Czech capital before midnight, according to Prague airport.

More planes from the Middle East are due to arrive in Prague in the course of the day and on Saturday night.
