Monday sees lowest working-day growth of COVID-19 cases in four weeks

Monday saw 6,048 new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus. In terms of working days, that is the lowest number for the past four weeks. However, it the Ministry of Health has not yet released data regarding how many tests were undertaken on Monday.

In total, there are currently more than 155,000 people fighting the infection, of which around 7,800 are hospitalised. The number of total deaths since the virus was first detected in the Czech Republic crossed the 5,000 mark on Monday.
