Michal Ambrož – Czech rocker who inspired a generation of Czechs with his music

This week’s Sunday Music Show is dedicated to rock musician Michal Ambrož, the frontman of the popular band Jasná Páka whose music was a beacon for many in a generation of Czechs that grew up in the final years of Communist Czechoslovakia. Ambrož died at the age of 68 on Monday, after suffering from a long illness. Despite his health, the musician continued to be active. Touring as recently as this year with his more recent band Hudba Praha.
