Michaela Pavlátová's My Sunny Maad wins César Award for Best Animated Feature Film

Czech director Michaela Pavlátová's co-production My Sunny Maad has won the prestigious César Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The Cesar awards granted by the French Film Academy were announced on Friday night at a gala ceremony in Paris. My Sunny Maad is about a Czech woman who falls in love with an Afghan man and has no idea about the life that awaits her in post-Taliban Afghanistan.
