Meteorologists issue heat warning for Friday

Meteorologists have issued a heat warning for most parts of the Czech Republic for Friday afternoon and evening, when temperatures are likely to exceed 34 degrees Celsius in some places.

The warning is in place from 11 am. until 6 pm.

People are advised to increase their intake of liquids and stay out of the sun as much as possible. There is also a warning for people not to leave children or pets in their cars, even for short periods of time.
