MEP Tomáš Zdechovský to lead Christian Democrats in European elections
MEP Tomáš Zdechovský will lead the Christaian Democrats in elections to the European Parliament next year, party leader Marian Jurečka, told journalists after the party's nomination conference at the weekend. František Talíř, deputy governor of South Bohemia, is second on the party’s ticket, followed by MEP Michaela Šojdrová.
A decision on whether the Christian Democratic Party will compete in elections to the European Parliament on its own or as part of the SPOLU coalition, with which it is now in government, will be announced by the end of September, Mr. Jurečka said.
