Menšík moves up to 23rd in world rankings after Miami Victory

In tennis, 19-year-old Jakub Menšík has moved up to 23rd in the world rankings after his impressive victory in Miami, where he defeated Novak Djokovic, the record-holder with 24 Grand Slam titles. Menšík, who did not compete last week, made this jump thanks to his recent success and is now in the top 25.

Meanwhile, Vít Kopřiva also rose 95 spots after reaching the quarterfinals in Marrakesh, marking his debut in the top 100.

Czech men’s tennis is led by Tomáš Macháč, who remains in 21st place, while Jiří Lehečka is 28th. On the women’s side, Karolína Muchová has improved to 12th, with Barbora Krejčíková at 15th, Linda Nosková at 33rd, and Kateřina Siniaková ranked 57th in doubles.
