Menšík becomes first Czech in a decade to reach Masters semi-final

Czech tennis player Jakub Menšík has made history by reaching his first Masters semi-final at the Miami Open, becoming the first Czech in nearly a decade to achieve this feat. The 19-year-old advanced to the top four after a thrilling 7-6, 6-1 victory over France’s Arthur Fils.

Mr. Menšík was already the only unseeded player remaining in the tournament when he reached the quarter-finals. He will now face Taylor Fritz of the United States for a place in the final.
