Masks no longer required in classroom in any Czech regions

School children will no longer be required to wear face masks in classrooms in any of the Czech Republic’s regions from Tuesday, ministers said after a cabinet meeting. Such a requirement had still been in place in the Zlín, South Bohemian and Liberec regions after being dropped elsewhere a week ago.

In other easing of Covid restrictions, up to 5,000 people will be able to attend outdoor arts events from next month; the figure for indoor events will be 2,000. Live music will be allowed in restaurants and clubs but dancing will be still be prohibited.
