Marie Bouzková advances into Wimbledon last 16

Czech tennis player Marie Bouzková beat America’s Alison Riske-Amritraj in two sets 6:2 6:3 in the third round of the women’s singles on Friday. It is the first time that the 23-year-old Czech has reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament.

Bouzková, who won the US Open Junior Grand Slam in 2014, will face France’s Caroline Garcia in the next round scheduled to take place on Sunday.
