Malešice tent city for refugees no longer in operation

A centre providing tents to Ukrainian refugees in the Prague district of Malešice is closed from Wednesday. The facility has been merged with another tent city in the Troja district, which has a capacity of around 250. The move follows a decline in the number of war refugees from Ukraine in Czechia.

The operators of the Malešice site are keeping some tents in place in case they are needed again in future.
