Macinka: Motorists not seeking stand-in for Turek

According to their chairman, Petr Macinka, the Motorists’ party is not looking for even a temporary replacement for its MP Filip Turek, despite President Petr Pavel suggesting that Turek’s appointment as minister is unlikely. Speaking to CNN Prima News, Macinka dismissed suggestions that another cabinet member might have to run the environment ministry. He also ruled out the idea that insisting on Turek’s nomination could jeopardise the formation of the planned government with ANO and SPD.
