Lockdown cuts crime rate but increases domestic violence

The crime rate in the first quarter of this year dropped to an all-time low as a result of the coronavirus lockdown, the ctk news agency reports. The interior ministry registered 36,000 crimes, which is 27 percent less than in the same period last year. At the same time, there has been a steep increase in domestic violence and cybercrime which was up by 4 percent.
