Lipavský: Transparency has returned to the president's residence

President Petr Pavel and Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský met at Prague Castle on Wednesday to discuss the Ukraine peace talks that took place in Saudi Arabia over the weekend as well as their joint trip to the UN General Assembly in September, where the president will lead the Czech delegation. The pair also commemorated diplomat Martin Povejšil, who died on Monday at the age of 62, with the foreign minister saying he contributed to diplomacy and democracy in the Czech Republic.

At a press conference afterwards, Mr Lipavský described the meeting as constructive, successful, and important for coordinating foreign policy, adding that transparency had returned to the Castle.
