Lipavský: Czech success based on pillars of security and prosperity
The minister of foreign affairs, Jan Lipavský, says the success of Czechia internationally is dependent on the two pillars the state is built on, which are security and prosperity. He made the comment at a meeting of economic diplomats at the headquarters of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague on Monday.
Mr. Lipavský said that in 10 years the Czech economy, now based on burning fossil fuels, must be transformed into a modern, green and competitive one.
The security of Czechia is ensured by a robust security system, good relations with allies and a strong defence industry, the foreign policy chief said, adding that this was symbolised by the country’s membership of NATO.
